Abstract
This study tested the effects of varying salinity and increased turbidity on freshwater macrophyte growth in coastal eutrophic agricultural ditches, in the absence of grazing. Results show that a mismatch between high salinity in eutrophic sediment and overlaying freshwater hampers macrophyte growth.
