Abstract
The study compares plastid sequences of native and introduced populations of invasive aquatic weeds Elodea canadensis and E. nuttallii, identifying 235 variable sites across 112,193 bp, developing 29 primer pairs for phylogeographic analysis, and revealing single dominant haplotypes in introduced ranges.
